Event Tip Odds Explanation

NZ vs Aus

27 Aug 2016

New Zealand (-19.5) 10/11 New Zealand were dominant when these teams met in Sydney last week, running in six tries and winning 42-8 to comfortably cover the handicap. Australia will be determined to do better this time around but, with this being played in New Zealand where the All Blacks have been dominant for so long (they have won 41 home games in a row and 18 in a row at home against the Wallabies), it looks likely that it will be another big win for the All Blacks.

A'tina vs SA

27 Aug 2016

Argentina (+3) 10/11 The Pumas have never beaten South Africa in Argentina but will fancy their chances of ending that run after pushing the Springboks close in Nelspruit last week. The most recent fixtures between these two in Argentina have tended to be close, with the Pumas often going into the break ahead, and if they can repeat their efforts from last week and catch the Springboks a little cold, this could well be a memorable match for the home side.

Spurs vs L'pool

27 Aug 2016

Spurs to win 11/8 Liverpool's defence has been questionable so far and they have conceded five goals in just two games. That's not the kind of defensive form you want to take into a match with Tottenham, who boast one of the best strikers in the country and one of the league's finest creative midfielders. If the Reds show any more signs of weakness in defence then Spurs will almost certainly take advantage and they won't give away much themselves.

Chels vs Burnley

27 Aug 2016

Chelsea (-1) 3/4 Chelsea have been pretty consistent so far, winning their opening two games 2-1, but both wins could easily have been more convincing and Chelsea should not be underestimated as a result. They look a very strong team and will only get better under Conte, particularly with a loud home crowd behind them. Burnley have surprised many by taking four points form their first two games and they deserve lots of credit, but they will be no match for Chelsea and are likely to lose this one by at least a couple of goals.

Palace vs B'mouth

27 Aug 2016

Crystal Palace to win 5/4 Palace didn't win either of their two games against Bournemouth last season but that record should improve after this match and one of the main reasons is the arrival of Christian Benteke. The Eagles recruited well over the summer and look strong in midfield but they were crying out for a decent target man up front, which they now have in the shape of Benteke. The Belgian made his debut in midweek and looked dangerous; with a bit more match fitness he should be more effective and can help lead Palace to victory.

Everton vs Stoke

27 Aug 2016

Everton to win & over 2.5 goals 7/4 Everton have made a good start to the season, drawing with Spurs, winning away at West Brom and then enjoying a big win in the EFL Cup. That should give them plenty of enthusiasm and confidence ahead of this game and they can continue the decent start by claiming a win against a Stoke side who have struggled to make an impact in their two Premier League games so far. In addition, since Everton's attack appears to be improving and Stoke's defence looks a little shaky, over 2.5 goals seems likely.

Leic vs Swans

27 Aug 2016

Leicester to win to nil 33/20 The last three games between these two have seen Leicester win 2-0, 3-0 and 4-0, with the margin of victory getting bigger each time. It's unlikely that this game will continue the trend and end 5-0 but it certainly offers a great opportunity for the champions to claim their first win of the season. They looked pretty solid when they held Arsenal to a 0-0 draw and a similar defensive effort will probably secure them another clean sheet, which in turn should lead to a win because Swansea won't be able to keep them out for 90 minutes.

So'ton vs S'land

27 Aug 2016

Both teams to score 21/20 They may have lost their opening two games but Sunderland have been giving a decent account of themselves so far so shouldn't be written off. They will see this as a good opportunity to secure their first point of the season and can take advantage of the fact that Southampton's defence isn't quite as solid as it once was. Because of this I fancy the Black Cats to score an away goal, but I'm not sure it will be enough to win them the game because Southampton are still effective in attack and can get a goal or two of their own.

Watford vs Arsenal

27 Aug 2016

Over 2.5 goals 17/20 It has been a tough start to the season for Arsenal and it doesn't get too much easier with this away fixture. Watford are capable of playing very well at home and the small, compact ground can make things difficult for visitors. Having said that, Arsenal will be desperate to claim their first win of the season and are likely to go on the attack in this game. Considering that and the fact that the three meetings last season all produced over 2.5 goals, I fancy this to be a reasonably high-scoring match.

Hull vs Warr'ton

27 Aug 2016

Hull to win 10/11 The odds have these teams dead even but I think Hull have the edge and will win the game in 80 minutes. They have already narrowly beaten Warrington in their two previous meetings this season and, most importantly, they seem to be going into the game in great form, having beaten Catalan Dragons 44-0 last week and Widnes 38-0 the week before. They will have something close to their best team out and, so long as they manage the occasion and don't get overawed, they should be able to lift the trophy for the first time since 2005.

Hull vs Man Utd

27 Aug 2016

Half-time/Full-time: 2/2 6/5 Two sides with 100% records go head to head at the KCOM Stadium and something has got to give. It would make a nice story if Hull were to make it three wins from three but it would be a huge shock with the way Man Utd are playing. The Red Devils have controlled their two games so far, taking a relatively early lead and then pushing on to claim comfortable victories. If they play anything like they have been doing so far, we should see a similar story again.

Newc vs Brighton

27 Aug 2016

Draw 47/20 This is an intriguing clash between two of the favourites for promotion to the Premier League. Newcastle were expected to run away with the division but started poorly, losing their opening two games. However, they have now recovered somewhat so will go into this game with confidence. Unfortunately, they will need more than that to beat an impressive Brighton side that has only conceded in one league game this season, and that is the reason that I expect this big clash to end all square.

WBA vs M'brough

28 Aug 2016

Both teams to score 21/20 It's not easy to pick a winner in this game so we have to look elsewhere for value and both teams to score looks like a good bet at 21/20. After opening the season with a clean sheet, West Brom have now conceded two goals in back to back games, suggesting they are not too solid and have defensive vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, Middlesbrough have scored and conceded in all three competitive games they have played the season, which makes the odds for that to happen again appear rather generous.

Man C vs W Ham

28 Aug 2016

Odd/Even Man City total goals: Even 17/20 Looking back at the last five fixtures between these teams, two goals seems to be the limit as those games finished 2-0, 2-1, 2-0, 1-2, 2-2. There's a definite pattern forming with regards to two goals being scored and in 4 out of 5 games the home side reached that mark. Looking at the teams today, City seem to have enough talent to win the game but it would be a surprise if they scored more than two. However, the odds for even goals are better and still give the chance to win if my prediction proves incorrect.

Inter vs Palermo

28 Aug 2016

Inter to win & over 2.5 goals 10/11 Both of these sides will be aiming to score their first goals and claim their first points of the season after slumping to defeats on the opening weekend. On history alone you'd have to fancy Inter because they have won six out of the last seven competitive meetings between these two at the San Siro and they also scored three or more goals in all but one of those seven matches, which gives us hope that we'll see some goals in this game.

Alaves vs Gijon

28 Aug 2016

Alaves to win 23/20 Alaves pulled off the shock of week 1 when they held title hopefuls Atletico to a 1-1 draw in Madrid. It's a result that very few people expected and it will have filled the club with confidence ahead of their next few games. Gijon also secured a good result last weekend but things aren't expected to improve from there and they may struggle against an Alaves side full of confidence and playing on home soil.

Bilbao vs Barca

28 Aug 2016

Barcelona to win & over 2.5 goals 11/10 It was quite contrast for these two last week as Bilbao started with a disappointing loss to Sporting Gijon while Barcelona began the season in ominous form, beating Real Betis 6-2. This game might be closer than Barca's last match, particularly as it is a derby of some sorts, but Barca should still take control of the match and are capable of winning this game with ease, which should mean another relatively high-scoring match.

Cagliari vs Roma

28 Aug 2016

Roma to win 3/4 Roma are one of the main challengers for the title this season and they got their campaign off to the best possible start last week when they beat Udinese 4-0. They showed plenty of attacking talent in that game and if they carry on playing a similar way against newly-promoted Cagliari, they'll have no problem making it two wins form two games - which is why this bet is hard to avoid at such a big price for the away team.

7 Betting Tips for the Occasional Bettor

If you’re not an expert in the field, sports betting can sometimes appear quite daunting. However, fear not because we have a few helpful hints to make life easier for you when you want to place a bet.

7. Take advantage of promotions - It is much less risky to bet with a free bet rather than your own money and there are plenty available to take advantage of. Join Titanbet and straight away you qualify for a generous free bet and then you can get more with our regular promotions. That’s not all because with various moneyback offers, you can sometimes get your money back if things don’t go as expected.

6. Check the teamsheet - It may sound simple but it can make a huge difference. For example, if a Premier League team are facing a lower league side in a cup competition, the Premier League side will be expected to win and the odds will reflect this. However, their priorities may lie elsewhere and so they could decide to rest some key players, leaving an upset a distinct possibility. In circumstances like this, it is possible to pick up some generous odds and potentially big winnings by betting on the underdog.

5. Analyse the form -  If you fancy a bet on horse racing then form is one of the most important factors in choosing a horse. With a quick glance at the form, you can see how well each horse is doing in general, how they perform in certain conditions, and what kind of races they tend to do well in. This can then be used to help you select a likely winner for your chosen race. Form also plays a part in many other sports, particularly when looking at past meetings between opponents and so is not necessarily limited to just horse racing.

4. Get Some Help - With thousands of bets to choose from, it can be difficult to decide who or what to bet on. It doesn’t have to be that way because there are various tools available to help you pick the right bet: you can use some tips from experts such as the ones provided by the Titanbet bloggers above, you can read match previews to see what people expect to happen in an upcoming game, or you can use a feature like Titanbet’s top bets to see what other people are betting on right now.

3. Don’t chase losses - Sometimes bets win and sometimes they lose, it’s part of the fun of betting and important to accept. If your bet happens to lose then it is best to accept it and move on rather than try to win the money back by selecting a new bet with higher odds. If you start choosing bets because the winnings will cover a previous loss, you will probably be ignoring the other advice on this page and not choosing the best bets for you.

2. Look at the Stats - There are statistics for just about every sport all over the internet and they can be invaluable in helping you select your bets. Take football for example. With a quick search you can find out things like the average number of goals a team scores and concedes, how often they score first, how many times they have kept a clean sheet, whether a particular player scores first or last more often, and much more besides. Armed with such information, you can choose smarter bets the majority of the time.

1. Make a budget … and stick to it - Only ever bet with money you can afford to lose and that way you stay in full control and can enjoy your betting. It’s a simple but important rule to follow.
